Stages for achieving the desired outcome:
  • The pupils will compare the classic tale of Cinderella and the Egyptian tale, "The Princess in Animal Skins". They have to classify sentences about Cinderella and Juleidah. They will also describe the characteristics of Cinderella and Juleidah.

  • Pupils will have to fill in sentences that tell the prices of different toys. They will also have to write the name of the toy. To do this, they will enter a store of toys in the Making Waves site where they can see many toys with different prices. This task helps the pupils become acquainted with the structure of online stores.

  • Pupils will get acquainted with several online toy stores, and compare them. They will then choose a toy for themselves from one of the stores and present it in the toy gallery.
  • Pupils will have to access online stores and find Juleidah a gift. They will then have to present the gift and tell the others about it . Pupils will be able to describe why they chose this gift for Juleidah and the Prince (relating to the tale).

4 Choose a gift for Juleidah's wedding Pupils will find an authentic wedding gift for Juleidah and will publish it on the Web. Pupils will tell others about this gift and the reasons for choosing it. 2 lessons
  • Pupils will decide what Juleidah would like as her wedding gift.
  • Pupils will have to access online stores and find Juleidah a gift and they will have to present the gift and tell the others about it.
