1 Choose a Holiday Pupils will be able to match interests of various couples to description of locations around the world. 1 lesson Pupils will read description of a couple, e.g., "Cinderella and the Prince live in Vienna. Cinderella loves to take photographs and the Prince has always wanted to ride on an elephant." They will then have to match the picture to a park in Africa.
2 Build a Holiday Page Pupils will be able to search the web for information on the destination they have chosen and build a web page that advertises the holiday they have chosen. 3-4 lessons Pupils will choose one holiday destination and then find the information to complete a web page template. The information will be found in sites that will be provided to the pupils.
3 Holiday Page Survey Pupils will be able to complete a form and vote for a holiday page, giving reasons for their choice. 1 lesson Pupils will choose their favorite page from a holiday page gallery and complete a form in order to vote for it. They will also write comments in guest books of pages that they visit.

Assessment:
  • There is a reflection after task 3.
  • At the end of the unit, the pupils will complete a rubric assessing their work in the unit.
