Learning, Teaching and Assessment Principles |
Pupils will enter the results of their survey through an online form. In order to enter the results, they first need to choose the topic they surveyed. Make sure that pupils enter the results only for their topic. If pupils are using the site as members, their results will be saved under their own class. If pupils are using the site as guests (i.e. not as registered users), their results will be saved under one "Guest" class.
|

- Material are appropriate to the pupils' interests, experiences and knowledge.
- Language learning is facilitated when teachers incorporate task-based activities.
|
| Pupils will then see the results of their class survey. The class results page will be continually updated as pupils enter their data. If you have already opened the class results page and want to check if it has been updated, click on the Refresh button in your browser. |
|
| Pupils and teacher should discuss the results of the class pet surveys. Pupils need to be made aware that the results of the individual surveys were collated to give a class picture. Pupils should be encouraged to draw conclusions from the surveys: Which is the most popular pet? Do most pets go to the vet? Do most pets have fur? |
- Language learning is facilitated when pupils interact, share information, exchange ideas and opinions, and work together.
- Materials provide opportunities for meaningful communication.
