Learning, Teaching and Assessment Principles |
| The main goal of this task is to help pupils read and understand simple survey results. An additional goal is to introduce the concept of sharing information through the Internet. |
- Pupils are aware of the learning objectives.
|
| Pupils should click on the "Start the Quiz" button to start the quiz. They will then see eight consecutive screens that show graphic results of one of the survey topics, chosen randomly from one of the classes that completed the survey. In each screen, pupils will be asked to answer questions such as: "How many pupils have pets?" or "Do most pets have fur?" |
- Pupils feel challenged within the range of their possible performance.
- Pupils develop confidence in their ability to use the target language.
- Pupils have opportunities to learn by doing.
|
| If some pupils finish faster than others, they can do the quiz again. Different results from different classes will be seen each time. |
